The Toronto Teqball Sport Club, "The Wolverines," is excited to launch our "Teqball for Fitness & Fun" program – designed for adults of all skill levels who want to enjoy the dynamic benefits of Teqball without the pressure of intense competition.
Whether you're a seasoned soccer player, a former table tennis enthusiast, or simply someone seeking a unique and exhilarating workout, this program is for you! It's the perfect blend of physical activity, skill development, and social interaction.
What is "Teqball for Fitness & Fun" All About?
This program focuses on the joy of playing Teqball, enhancing your physical abilities, and fostering a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. You'll engage in lively sessions that challenge your agility, reflexes, and ball control, all while having a great time. It’s an ideal way to boost your fitness in a fun, non-traditional setting.
Program Structure & What You'll Do:
Our "Teqball for Fitness & Fun" sessions are designed to be flexible and engaging, ensuring a great experience every time.
- Warm-Up & Movement (10-15 minutes):
- Dynamic stretching and light cardio to get your body ready.
- Basic ball familiarity drills (e.g., juggling, simple passing) to loosen up.
- Skill Focus & Drills (20-30 minutes):
- Each session might focus on one or two key Teqball skills (e.g., precise passing, effective receiving with different body parts, basic serving techniques, strategic positioning).
- Fun, non-competitive drills designed to improve your ball control, touch, and spatial awareness. Think group drills and partner exercises.
- Open Play & Games (60-70 minutes):
- The core of the session! This is where you put your skills into action in a relaxed, friendly environment.
- Rotating singles and doubles matches, ensuring everyone gets plenty of play time.
- Opportunity to try out Teqvoly (Teqball played with hands) for a different kind of challenge and fun!
- Coaches will be present to offer tips, organize games, and ensure fair play, but the emphasis is on recreational enjoyment.
- Cool-down & Stretch (5-10 minutes):
- Light stretching to aid recovery and prevent soreness.

- Target Audience: Adults looking for recreational play, fitness, and skill development in a non-competitive setting.
- Frequency: Typically 1-2 sessions per week (e.g., Monday evenings, Saturday afternoons).
- Duration: Sessions are usually 1.5 - 2 hours long.

- Pricing:
- Monthly Pass: 120 CAD per month (8 times)
- Drop-in Fee: $30 CAD per session
- Club Member Discount: Special rates for existing Toronto Teqball Sport Club members! 20 CAD per person
